Get Paid to Write

One of the most common ways how you can earn money while working at the comfort of your home is through writing. You can get paid for writing articles, rewriting articles, writing blog comments, posting on forums and even writing thesis papers for college students. Sure there are various ways how you can use your writing skills to earn money online. Here are some of my favorites and my experiences in each.
Article Writing
This is the most common work for online writers. I started writing articles for someone else a few years ago. I met this blogger in a forum and after submitting a couple of my writing samples, he hired me for long term. I was getting paid an average of $5 per 500 word article. Not bad. As long as the work is original and copyright free, you get paid. So in some instances when I am trying to meet deadlines, I just look for an article of the same topic and rewrite it to make it original. That is allowed anyway.
Rewriting Articles
Some bloggers and online marketers use article marketing to drive traffic and promote their site and products. Instead of requiring new articles to use for article marketing, they just use old articles and hire someone to rewrite them to make it look like new and original articles. I like rewriting articles because it is easier when you already have the thought you will use for your article. Usually, rewriting an article pays a bit less than writing an article.
Writing comments
Writing comments is simply leaving comments in a certain blog article while putting a signature link. Bloggers hire people to write comments for them in other blogs and ask them to include their blog url in their signature. This is one way how bloggers drive traffic. They make it a way that their blog links exist in as many blogs as possible. I used to get paid from $0.30 to $0.50 per blog comment that stays within a certain period (5-7 days usually). Some bloggers moderate their blog comments so they can delete comments whenever they feel like being spammed. So make sure to post comments only relevant to the topic and put signatures properly.
Posting on forums
This is the easiest for me. I love joining forums and interacting with other people. So in posting on forums, I get paid for something I already do and love doing. Although, I choose certain topics. I won't enjoy posting in a forum for online games, because I am not into that. Although I gt paid for doing it, I won't be comfortable replying or posting new threads anyway. So if you do forum posting, make sure the topic is something within your interests. I like forums for job opportunities, making money online, blogging, dating (hmmm this is fun), marketing, movies, celebrities, fashion, etc. Usually I get paid $0.10 per post and $0.20 per new thread. The posts and threads must be of quality and with reasonable number of words in each post.
Blogging
Of course, after a while working for bloggers, I got to learn the basics in blogging although I am not yet an expert. I am now writing for myself. I write articles for my own blogs and earn money doing it. I sometimes hire writers when needed. But when I have the time, I love writing the articles myself.
