I know so many ordinary people addicted to this game. I also have friends who are professionals very much active in playing. I learned that some celebrities enjoy plowing, harvesting, planting and decorating their Farmville farms. I myself is an avid farmer so I can not blame anyone.

What many people really love about Farmville is the fact that you get to design your own plant as if it was real. It also teaches you how to manage a farm, thereby giving an idea of how a farm is or should be managed. You also learn to manage your time by knowing when to harvest your crops to avoid from withering.

Another good thing playing Farmville can teach people is to become more socially active not only locally but globally. I met some foreign friends through Farmville. We share the same interests or should I say addiction to such game.

I imagined Farmville would not last this long because I didn’t imagine myself having to do the same things over and over. But the advantage of Farmville over other applications or games, is that it features new looks, gimmicks and added thrills every once in a while. Such gimmicks conform mostly to holidays or events.

I wouldn’t be surprised if after another year, I still see myself playing the game and even my friends or neighbors (in Farmville).
