In an another controversial victory by pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines over arch-rival Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez, the boxing world seems unable to move on from this and continues to talk about such on forums and social networking sites.

I have witnessed in various forums, not only from sports-related forums but also from other forums that the recent controversial victory of Pacquiao over Marquez still keeps boxing fans, mostly Pacquiao and Marquez' fans, talking about the match and the unexpected but familiar result. I remember in their first two matches, both fights were as controversial as the third.

It has been three days since the fight but it is still the hot trending topic on most social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. This shows the popularity of both fighters not only in the boxing world but in the whole of sports. I can imagine this keeps on for a while especially that a fourth match between the two is now looming and may happen early next year.

I can still hear people talk about this fight and its result even on the streets, restaurants, stores, malls, buses and other public places. Time will tell when this topic will end. But for sure this will become a history in the boxing world. I wonder when people will move on the look forward to future fights.
